Basel is also a city of art, culture and historic buildings. With the start and finish in a small area in the city centre, spectators are close to the racing action.

Getting there

Basel is right on the Swiss border to France and Germany. There is easy access from every direction by road, rail and air.

Arriving by plane

Our nearest airports are Basel/Mulhouse (BSL) and Zürich (ZRH)

Arriving by train

The city has two main stations. Basel SBB / CFF is a combined Swiss and French SNCF station., Basel Badischer Bahnhof is for trains from Germany.

Arriving by road

Athletes, coaches and spectators coming by car will find a choice of multistory parking in the city centre.

Local public transport

The regatta Start & Finish are conveniently located for major Basel tram and bus lines
