Races
The Mirabaud BaselHead offers crews two starting options – in addition to the classic long-distance race, there is a separate sprint competition.
The afternoon Mirabaud Classic runs over 6.4 km with a challenging 180-degree turn at halfway. The course runs through the city center under three bridges. The race demands considerable skill from both the rowers and coxes. Another highlight is the sprint over 350 meters, which takes place in the morning.
The boats start at short intervals and are equipped with GPS transmitters. Attractive prize money is available for the podium places in each category.
